This is based on viewing a circuit for a Fisher CA-270 which I hope is close enough to yours to be relevant as I cannot find one for a CA-270A. You will see that the fuse has melted and there might be charring on the panel. So I took this receiver apart and found two of the output transistors where blown the main fuse and two smaller 63 amp fuses. It could be shorted out but unlikely.
